Central Pacific Region

per person

The Central Pacific Coast is the weekend playground of those living and working in San Jose. That’s because the closest beach (Jaco) is within a one hour drive of the capital city.

Stretching from the Nicoya Peninsula to the Dominical area, this region contains the smallest but most well-known natural reserves in the country. Manual Antonio National Park is an undamaged ecosystem with plenty of wildlife, jungle, and palm trees right next to the beach. This region has the most beautiful beaches of the Pacific coast and a well-developed tourist infrastructure. The region also boasts one of five Blue Zones in the world, where people are found to live longer and healthier lives.
